Township Elected Officials

Township Trustee Ms. Janet Jankura

Ms. Jankura took office in 2008 and her current term expires 2023.  Ms. Jankura is an engaging corporate board member with fifteen plus years of experience in six public and private organizations with revenues up to $5B.  As a strategic advisor to boards and C-suite, Ms. Jankura consults leaders of major global brands with revenues up to $12B.  She is an optimizer of human capital resulting in organizational competitive advantage, an innovative thinker who provides guidance that enhances shareholder value and a governance champion.

Ms. Jankura is the Board Chair of Richfield Township and was recruited to be a charter director of Green Earth Technologies, a publically-traded, consumer/commercial goods producer.  She oversaw the growth of GET [Growth Earth Technologies], tripling its annual revenue.  She chaired the Compensation Committee and served on the Audit Committee.

As an operating executive, she built market position in Rockwell Automation, National City Corporation and Mannesmann.  Ms. Jankura was appointed to a Federal Board by US Secretaries of the Interior, Agriculture and is a veteran US Marine Corpos Officer.  Ms. Jankura is a professional speak and faculty for the National Association of Corporate Directors, earning their Governance Fellow distinction.

Township Trustee Mr. Donald W. Laubacher

Mr. Laubacher took office in January 2022 and his current term expires in 2025. 

Following his graduation from Bowling Green State University with an MA in Accounting, Mr. Laubacher has spent his professional career in the financial services industry and is currently a Senior Vice President and shareholder at Sequoia Financial Group, a financial advisory firm headquartered in Fairlawn, Ohio.  He has held the CPA and CFP designations for over 30 years.

Mr. Laubacher serves as the Trustee Liaison for the Zoning Department, OSHA, Storm Water, and the Police and Fire Safety Services contracts.

Township Trustee Mr. Robert Luther

Mr. Luther took office in 2014 and his current term expires 2025.  Mr. Luther previously served as a Township Trustee for sixteen (16) years (1985-2001) and is a local entrepreneur for 40 years.    

Mr. Luther serves as the Trustee Liaison for the Road & Service Department, Richfield Joint Recreation District, and the Waste & Recycling Contract.

Fiscal Officer, Ms. Laurie Pinney.  

Ms. Pinney took office as Township Fiscal Officer in 2003 and has been elected thereafter.  The Fiscal Officer has a four (4) year term that runs from April 1 until March 31 of the term even though the Fiscal Officer is on the November general election ballot.  Ms. Pinney's term expires on March 31, 2024.
